Welcome to the Polo School!
I have been playing polo for more than 15 years. I am rated one goal on the grass and in the arena. Currently, I am a member of the Capitol Polo Club where I teach the Polo School.
About Myself
I learned to play polo my freshman year at Cornell University where I earned my B.S. Cornell has one of the top collegiate polo programs in the country with some of the most respected polo instructors and coaches.
During my years at Cornell I taught riding lessons and summer riding camp, groomed for Ithaca Polo Club members, and learned to train polo ponies, all of which fueled my passion for the sport even more.
After graduation, I took the giant leap to California to earn my Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis. There, I brought my polo knowledge to a struggling UC Davis Polo Club and created a lesson program that boosted membership and brought polo back into the community and public eye. In my final year at UC Davis I won the award for UC Davis Female Sports Club Athlete of the Year. My students also honored me with their "Best Coach Ever" award!

In California, I trained horses and played with the Sutter Buttes Polo Club and Yolo Polo Club for 6 years. I enjoyed playing in numerous tournaments throughout Northern California such as Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, Napa Valley, and the Sacramento Valley.
Through my years of teaching polo, I learned one pivotal fact that everyone should know: Anyone can learn to play polo. I truly love teaching polo and derive immense satisfaction from seeing my polo students succeed in the sport. I hope that you can catch the polo "bug" from me and join the fun!
